After a letter to the Board of Selectmen and a pleasant conversation with the police department, our Welcome Party has been confirmed for the Walpole Town Common. Walpole-ians can nod their heads knowingly when I say that we have the most prime real estate- next to the bandstand (adjacent to Santa’s House). It’s slightly different in feel from Mundial, our NYC welcome venue. For ‘The Commons,” bring your cook-out clothes and save the martinis for the big apple.  Ruffians and trouble makers consider yourselves warned; a bicycle police officer has been dispatched for the event.
